HCL is the most incompetent company I ever worked for. They don't treat their employees with respect. You can never get promoted, you can never get a raise. Doesn't matter how hard you work, they will only respect you if you are of Indian-descent. I strongly suggest avoiding this company. All of the bad reviews about HCL are 1000% true. They should even be sued for their discriminatory practices.

I worked there last year. They have no idea whatsoever about the American work culture. People from one South Indian state, where their headquarters are located, dominate the company. They would openly discriminate against you and make your life miserable if you don’t speak the language of that state. The managers are utterly contemptible. I would strongly suggest to avoid this company if you have any other choice even if you were to get paid less than what these guys are willing to pay you. Absolutely the worst possible place to work in America.
