The best bar experience I can ever imagine to experience. Bartender was funny and attentive. The drinks were 100% on the spot.

Three of us ladies walked in one evening and went up to the bar. We browsed the menu that was there and it took quite some time to be acknowledged by the two male staff despite the fact that it was almost dead and closing wasn't for atleast another hour. The sign outside and the menu mentioned $6 drinks but we were told this only happened at happy hour. They had a very extensive menu but when we asked about drink options we were sharply told the only thing available was beer wine and shots. Within a minute of us looking at the drink menu one of the bartenders yelled "drink em if you've got them" making us feel as though since we did not yet have anything we were not welcome. There was absolutely zero friendliness or a crack of a smile from either of the people working there despite the fact that we were all very friendly and respectful. If the intention was to close early a simple sorry we are wrapping up service for the night would have been the most basic of customer service. We ended up walking out. Since we were in town for an LGBT conference and we didn't look like locals we thought perhaps this may have been discrimination based. It's impossible to know for sure but this experience left a very sour and depressing taste in our mouths for the evening.

This is my number one go to bar in long beach whenever I'm looking to get a drink. The drinks that are made here don't compare to some of the other local bars. They have something called whiskey Wednesday's here where it's half off all whiskey, I'm not really a big whiskey fan and this being a whiskey bar I still come here over other places because of all their other great options. Ask for Brian, he's a great bartender and he'll make you some 5 star drinks. If you are reading this review and are looking for a place to go don't even think about it, come here!
