The staff are very hardworking and dedicated! My mom, who has advanced Alzheimer’s, is well taken care of! Her physical and emotional needs are tended to. I am able to come and visit at anytime. The residents are respected, engaged in many activities, and well fed with 3 meals a day plus snacks. Like anyplace, there is a shortage of help so the staff here work extra hours to cover shifts! They are so dedicated! I would love for them to be compensated for their hard work and more staff hired.

When my family made the decision to move my grandfather two and a half years ago into the Landing we were relieved. He seemed to get very good care. He received care we could not provide at home such as PT, assistance with doctor's appointments, meals with a menu, medication administration, and showering assistance. It was expensive, but worth it for my grandfather to have peers and safety. However, over the past two years there have been multiple administration changes and very low staffing. This issue predates COVID and has only gotten worse. It is more expensive and the food, activities, emergent responsiveness and cleanliness have all declined. We have encouraged our grandfather to have patience, that COVID has caused a worker shortage, but after another letter stating another change in administration, we will be looking for a different residence for my grandfather. We are all so sad and frustrated.

The staff at The Landing are fantastic. My mom has been in their memory care unit for about 4 months now. The staff goes way beyond the basics: food, cleanliness, personal hygiene to offer really caring and hands on personal interaction. They make mom feel special; It makes all the difference.

My mother moved into The Landing the last week of Sept. I am so happy for her. The Landing is absolutely fabulous in every way. Where to start...the entrance is fantastic, concierge service, happy faces, polite and no bad smells. In fact we commented on the smell because it did not smell of urine or cleaners, it just smelled nice. The restaurant was top notch, no assigned seating and open 24/7. I could go on and on, just check it out for yourself. Update11/1/17 Mom was taken out of the landing for various reasons. One being the staff wear gps devices and if they stay past allotted time we are charged. So in addition to regular payment we were given an additional bill in excess of 2,500.

When I moved my Mom in about 8 months ago our options where optimum, $100+ or fios, around$100 or verizon wireless. $25 per month.. Works just like a land line. I don't think you can keep your old number.
