I’m traveling to Japan and Nsight was on my employer’s list of suggested testing sites in San Diego. Since they conveniently provide the special certificate which the Japanese government recommends presenting upon arrival in Japan, I booked an appointment with them. It was very easy and straight forward to make an appointment online. The reason why I docked one star is because the information on their website is not updated or accurate as to where the actual testing site is located at the Sheraton Hotel. On the website it says “inside the Sheraton hotel” so I spent a few minutes walking around inside the hotel trying to find Nsight until a staff member told me I have to go outside into the parking lot. There was no signage for Nsight at the hotel drop off area, in the lobby area or the the first floor in general. This would’ve been extremely helpful to provide. The testing site is actually OUTSIDE, in the parking lot, past the tennis courts. I even called their number because I was having trouble locating the testing site and the lady on the phone said to keep walking and “look for signs and a white tent.” To clarify, the testing site is not inside a white tent but rather inside a white cargo container. I have attached a photo so future customers know exactly what to look for rather than going on a wild goose chase for a white tent like I did. Furthermore, what was even more confusing was there was no staff present when I finally figured out that the cargo container was the testing site. I called the phone number again and was told I have to knock on the doors because someone should be working. Ultimately, some signage that says “Nsight customers: Please knock on door for assistance” would’ve been really helpful. The cargo container is not even marked with the Nsight logo- just three doors labeled “1 2 3.” It could’ve been a random cargo container to a passerby. Lastly, the process of getting checked in and swabbed was quick and painless (no discomfort just a ticklish feeling). I received my results via text and email about 8 hours after submitting my sample. I cannot give this experience a 5-star rating because I feel like I went through avoidable hassles if the communication to the customer was just clearer and more concise.

They charge for a test that should be free. They do not bill insurance and seem as if they just want money. I feel it is very unethical.

We needed test for travel and had a quick window of 1-2 days. Nsight did not disappoint. We tested at 7 am and had the results in 23 hours. Very easy no pain and no paperwork. Just a credit card and a nose swab. THANK YOU NSIGHT!! Off to the Bahamas!!
