I googled free beach and had to pay $10 a person. Police presence is appreciated but a bit much walking through people. Felt like I was being monitored while trying to relax.

Beautiful beach for chill, take a rest. The wide sand zone. The water is warmer that I suspected because of weather conditions.

Such a beautiful place! So clean and well kept. Very pleased to see the police enforcing the rules on the beach, keeping the area enjoyable for everyone. Bathrooms were okay.

Now that the season is over the beach is free. In season it is $9.00 pp over the age of 16. Street parking is free. They also have meter parking not sure of the cost.

Personally I say bring your own food depending on your diet. There is a Whole Foods market not too far away. And there is a Playa Bowls on Ocean Avenue. As for games I think you have to bring your as well. The atmosphere here is more college age I would say. And Spring Lake is for the more mature. That's my story! Lol
