Haster Basin Recreational Park

I came here to walk my dog in the middle of the day. Large green space. A long path surrounds the basin, which is a good place to walk your dog. I didn't see any families or parents walking around the path with their children. Many homeless people hanging around in groups. No one bothered me, it just felt a little creepy. The workout equipment located in different areas on the trail are broken. Lots of parking spaces available.

Its a very big park, not much for reaction. The park has a very big track that you could walk or run, no dog park. Also it has a play ground for small kids, exercise station thru-out the track or perimeter of the park, not much shade or tables. There is a basketball court. Its nice, its a good looking park.

It's a nice park but the homeless people generally don't care about kids being there and you never know what's gonna happen. They get high here and there's an abundance of them, generally they leave you be though so that's a plus, just don't take your kids.
