Great little shop with plenty of niche books as well as popular titles and a solid magazine rack. It's also a well curated gift shop with lots of great candles, vases, liquid containers and even some kitchen wears.

As one of the largest general interest independent bookstores in SoCal, it’s no wonder that my only real critique is the overwhelm I feel whenever I come in. There are so many stacks of books over so many different genres, I could spend all day perusing here and never tire of it! I could also go bankrupt buying all the books I want to! But that’s not Book Soup’s fault. I like the variety of the magazine supply outside and the vibe of the interior. I also appreciated the opportunity to add a book on at check out to donate to a children’s literacy org. It’s so important to get kids to fall in love with reading early on!

Dropped by as first time visitors to West Hollywood. Was a lovely place to escape to for a little while and browse a really well curated store. Service was great, both of the gentlemen we spoke to were very kind and let us use their washroom. (Which was clean!) My husband appreciated the art section and I found some goodies in the graphic novel section. Will definitely come back the next time we’re in the area.

Support your local bookstore!! Especially if they are cool like Book Soup! You can easily spend your whole day here browsing everything from luxurious coffee table books to classics to current best-sellers. Or you can buy online and quickly curbside pick up as I frequently do. Lots of staff recommendations, great gifts (socks, cards, pins, pens, puzzles etc) - there will be something for everyone. There is also a small kid’s corner.

If they don't have one in stock they can always order it for you. I find it takes about a week and a half for them to get in items that they don't currently have in stock.
Whatever they don't have in their shelves they can certainly order it for you.
If not in store, go to site and order it for pick up there
They don't sell used books. Try the Last Bookstore in downtown Los Angeles.
Not attached but there are a few places within walking distance. Dialog Cafe for coffee. Social Statehouse for Beer and Cocktails
If you check their website you can order it directly from them.
