It was a very light trail. There’s a few steep areas but I was able to complete the trail to the Falls with my daughter in flip-flops and crocs with no problem. So don’t get discouraged if you end up near this trail and you only have flip-flops on because you can still have a good time.

Nice Trail with Kids and Family..gps will take you to an closed road but don't worry if u drive straight 0.2 miles you will find parking on the road and u can see the cars parked there

Brief stroll with the dog from Lakes Rd to Fitzgerald Falls, & therein lies the problem. Though the setting looks like a fairy tale, it's easy accessibility from the road has the place trashed. Look below at your feet & you will see evidence of every broken bottle from careless partygoers of boozy gatherings gone by. Such a shame, the place is otherworldly in every other respect.
