Wonderful gardens, super nice staff, and delicious food and drink in the cafe. So much to see and many places to have a seat if you get tired. Highly recommend!

Nice place to visit on a pleasant day. We were looking forward to eating at the cafe but it was closed and opens in early June if I remember correctly. Beautiful grounds and plenty of shady spots and benches for relaxing and taking it all in. The 1 mile nature walk was a nice thing to do so don't forget to check out the trail while you're there.

This place is beautiful from start to finish. Your eye never gets tired seeing one more plant or flower so much color It also smells heavenly. It was my first time going I saw a snake and a chipmunk. They have a butterfly garden that opens in June. It really feels like you stepped back in time. They also offer tours of the home of Mr Ladew. So much fascinating history. We were there about 4 hours and totally worn out. You wont regret it.

Hubby is always finding us great adventures. I truly enjoyed the outdoors of some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. I even took note of some of the flowers I want to plant in my garden. We enjoyed the serene nature walk and enjoyed the butterfly house. I have never seen butterflies in their various stages of life in real life. We were able to see every stage before our own eyes. We did find a great spot to rest our eyes while we waited for the next butterfly exhibition to start. The cafe was closed during our visit, but we did check out the gift shop. This place is so worth a visit.

They run a tight ship, I would call and check with them i drove a group there and everything was set up before hand even what we ate
It depends on how busy they are, what flowers/shrubs are in bloom, and if you visit the Butterfly building or walk the nature trail. We've spent a couple of hours there but could spend more as well.
For the most part. It would be helpful if you have 2 people capable of lifting the stroller at certain locations with stairs
It's relatively flat and wheelchair ACCESSIBLE, but I wouldn't exactly call it wheelchair friendly, since very little is paved.
Not that i know of, but i do not think they are that expensive check the website.
Yes I took many photos but agree that if it is photography where you are using the setting as background for a professional shoot (i.e. you are selling the photos) you should check. I expect you can't have a commercial photo with the location obvious without permission (such as a corporate ad). A wedding photo is a grayer area, i.e. it is a commercial transaction but the purchaser is not putting it in the public domain.
Admission to the gardens and nature walk is $13 for adults, $10 for seniors/students, and $4 for children 2-12. To also tour the house is an additional $5. Everything is free for members
You can purchase tickets ahead of time on their website for Saturdays and Sundays only. Weekdays you can just arrive anytime and pay admission at the entrance.
