My favorite park in Whittier. Well maintained, good amount of parking, lots of trees. Perfect for summer.

This is an awesome park with two different play grounds based on age. A big grass area, picnic tables, work out section, baseball diamond, and a basket ball court. The grounds are also shared with an LA County Library and a community meeting room. Over all the park is great the only bad thing I have to say is the basketball courts are very close to the playground and small children are exposed to a lot cussing and vulgarity that come from the people playing on the courts including the extremely inappropriate music they blast. I wish they would have designed the park with the courts somewhere else.

The park is peaceful and tranquil. It is well maintained with the exception of not having enough toilet paper nor toilet seat covers on weekends in the womens restroom due to the high volume of people who utilize the park for sports events.

We were back in town visiting our old places with two children (C1 & C2) instead of one. They both had fun! It's still the same. The boys played with other children & enjoyed their adventures. There's the basketball court for my husband to play. There was others playing baseball, football & other things in the field & of course the two play structures for the older & younger children. The workout equipment is next to basketball court. We saw some old acquaintances & met new ones. A family wanted to set up play dates, but we had to tell them we were just visiting. We educated some about the library & the programs they advertised. It was nice to reminisce & experience new memories. We took pictures so we could put them in the catalogs we have of the children for later.
