The playground is terrific for kids. It is not Lemon Lake playground, but it is a top notch park. The perimeter trail is a hidden gem and well worth the trek. Sections of it stay muddy in the most dry of times, so wear appropriate footwear. The western portion of the trail is a bit more scenic as you trek through many hills left over by the glaciers. The eastern portion is flat and skirts the back road that borders the park and then through woods that are full of brush and briars. I've seen many more deer on the eastern side in the woods during the day.

Semi small park. Clean and well maintained. Great for a medium hike or a good bike ride. Trails are nice and secluded for the area. Definitely a good place to go for a short day!

Nice place to have a picnic, club meeting, walk trails, or just enjoy the outdoors. They also have hayrides.

This was my first time visiting. Definitely pretty with plenty to do. There was so much space, I just followed while the dog wandered and explored. Creek was completely dried up but there were a few people fishing in the pond--and according to the trail map, there's two other ponds on the property, back in the woods. It's 40 minutes from my house so not sure we'll visit it again soon, but if you're looking for a quiet place to fish or let the kids play (playground was big) or have a picnic, it's definitely worth going.

They have a sign as you enter that reads, dogs must be on a leash. So yes, they do allow dogs.
The paper map I got onsite wasn't much help when we were hiking.
Yes you can reserve with the parks department.
Most of them do.
