Wolcott Rest Area Northbound

The system was backing up due to the large amount of travelers for the holiday weekend. The facility was dirty all around! I would suggest pit stop anywhere besides here. Plan accordingly and unless it's a dire emergency skip this much needed to be closed embarrassment of Indiana!!! Close this rest stop now it's a health hazard!

It's a rest area; normal amount of cleanliness issues, especially on weekends. Getting more traffic because next rest area north is closed. Nice area for walking. Also several picnic tables with grills, as well as a group beneath a shelter. Trash bins include one for recycling (based on attendant we observed), but not clearly labeled which is trash or recycle-only.

This rest area has been abandoned by the local government? The bathroom is dirty and several stalls are out of order. Toilet paper scattered on the floor. No maintenance workers working there? On the upside, lawn is nice and clean.

Indiana needs to step up it's game with these outdated rest areas. The bathrooms feel and smell like a million people have come and gone.
