Awesome modern take on southern classics. They make a Last Word cocktail but with mezcal instead of gin. Their pimento cheese starter is excellent with fried naan and jalapeno in the dip. I ordered the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly and the side Cesar salad has an excellent dressing. The garlic mashed potatoes are a little too garlicky. My wife ordered the crab cakes which were fine but the least favorite of everything we ordered. We'll have to come back for dessert some time as the list looked amazing but we were too full. Lastly, not sure if they were down a server but it took awhile to get served. Our server was amazing though and gave great suggestions.

The hospitality was good. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The tomato flavor was too strong. The grits were cooked well but lacked seasoning. Also, the dish had way too many peppers, and onions. They weren't seasoned either. The portion size was great but this dish wasn't good. Nothing was seasoned. For the cost of the meal, I would try something else on the menu. Last thing, I ordered a cup of coffee. It was old! My waitress told me I had to wait for her to brew a fresh pot....didn't happen. At four bucks a cup, you should get a fresh cup of coffee. On to the next restaurant....

Delicious!!! Had a fabulous meal with the family. Very friendly staff & nice vibe. Love the Fried Shrimp Dinner. Shrimp were large & tasty. Outdoor seating area, large bar, and cool artwork covering the walls. Will definitely be back to eat again.

I absolutely love decadent food with an interesting spin. I've eaten at this local restaurant several times and have always enjoyed the food. They have been making some changes to the menu recently so this dish was slightly different than the last time I had it. I will say it was equally as delicious. Let's break it down: Salmon - The salmon was cooked perfectly. The flavor profile was slightly different than the last time I had it. There was a tangy, but sweet soy glaze that I really appreciated and the salmon sat on top of a bed of microgreens. Cooked to perfection. Garlic Mashed Potatoes - The mashed potatoes had great flavor and texture. Last time the presentation was slightly better, but the potatoes themselves were just as delicious. Garden Salad - I love the freshness of the salad and the homemade salad dressing. Ingredients were high quality. Beignets - Flaky and delicious! I would recommend less chocolate and more powdered sugar! Wine - And to complement the entire meal was this delicious dry red. Wednesday is half-price wine day so it is a really great night to venture out and try this delicious spot. Overall - Service was excellent. I had questions about the wines and the manager came over and assisted which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend coming back to this place. My only complaint is I would have preferred more asparagus. The last time I was here the serving size of asparagus was larger. This girl loves to eat. So I love large portions of vegetables. In all - this restaurant is delicious.
