This is the only range that I am aware of in Orange county where you can shoot rifle calibers above .223. They have 25 yard private bays, steel shooting gallery and 100 yard range with eight bays. There is usually a wait for one of the 25-yard bays, but I've never had to wait for a spot at the hundred yard range. They also have shotgun trap shooting in spades. Fill out the waiver online before you get there, and check the website to make sure that they're open on the day you plan on attending. As you might expect, their ammunition offerings are limited. Bring whatever ammo you think you are going to need. The range offers can be a bit rough, but they are pretty okay people and they take safety seriously.

This was my first time out to this range. I was happy with the private lanes. The staff is very helpful The place is kept very neat & clean! You'll like it so go to this place & have a good time

As a new gun owner, I was looking for a good range close by. In doing my online search this place appealed to me the most. So glad I decided to give them a try. First off, EVERYONE there was so nice and accommodating to me as a newby gun owner! That goes for the staff in the “office where you pay, purchase ammo, and targets… to the guys out on the range! All were incredibly helpful! No one seemed annoyed by any of my many questions! The outdoor bays were big, roomy, and the berms between bays were high enough and thick enough to give you a feeling of safety! I haven’t been in a while due to some health issues but will go back soon! Have to zero my new red dot optic.

Good close range. Limited to 100 yards I believe? The people there are always helpful. Safety is a must so newbys should take some classes which are also offered. Sometimes the range hets crowded and a call may save some unwanted waiting. Oh, bring water! It can be hot and dry out there. I am actually going there today to break in some rifles and packing a small ice box.

Why not
You can bring your own targets. But they sell targets there too!
Yes you can. They don't bother you about it.
If its legal you can shoot it!
I’d suggest that you check with your doctor, this is a question that a range safety officer is not qualified to answer
I was there just a few days ago and was able to shoot my own steel targets. Just let them know what you have i.e thickness, setup type and your knowledge of shooting steel. The RO are not there to be Nazis, they are there to keep everyone safe. If in doubt, just call. I always had great experience with them.
Yes you can, as long as you're not using steel core ammunition
May 27th
If you want to stand as a target yes 🤣
Yes you can shoot anything that is California legal and aluminium ammo falls under those guide lines have fun see you there
You can shoot any type firearm including slingshots in pellet guns as long as it's not 50 calibers or more.
Tannerite is illegal in California, so I don't think you'll find any range that will allow this practice.
$35 per person for a lane at the 100 yard range, I think the charge is the same for the 25 yard private area or the steel shooting gallery.
Yes, absolutely
Yes you can
I am a retired police officer, and I am required to qualify every year. Also my target must be score by someone on site. Do you issue the HR218 form upon qualification.
Yes, you can use whatever you like as long as it's not steel tip/steel core ammunition.
Yes, it's open to the public
No.
It is open and you are welcome to bring and shoot your own rifles, handguns, shotguns, etc.
No steel tip/steel core ammunition of any kind is allowed here. That includes green tip/M855 rounds.
You can holster handguns in your private bay and do pretty much whatever you like as long as you're being safe about it.
Calling would or researching will give you the most accurate answer. Things change.
Yes, their website said they have ammo for sell
They used to, but they do not at this time.
Clay shooting has an 18+ age limit and the pistol/rifle bays have a 21+ age limit. Children 17 and under must have parent or guardian supervision and be included on their online waiver.
Check out their site. https://www.raahauges.com/
Yes.
Runnin n gunnin is ok. RSOs will want to know your intent, and you will need to be safe.
Yes bring them all. Cardboard and steel targets.
You can use your own ammo. As far as gun rental I don't think they rent any guns.
No. After july 1....???????
Your own ammo? Yes. Green tip ammo? No.
Unfortunately no.
I don't see why not it's outdoors.
All right gentlemen listen up the answer to your question is this: go in the office fill out the waiver so if you shoot yourself in the leg it's your fault not there's. Next you pay the range fee ( about $40 yep per person ) then if you buy there ammo you can use there guns free but they hold your drivers licence so they no were to go lookin if you forget to bring em back and they have 12guage 40 cal 45 and Arm's no Mac's uzi's bazooka's or my favorite surface to air missiles darn the bad luck have fun don't shoot yourself in the leg
Well if you bring your own it has to be California legal or if you got a machine gun bazooka rocket launcher etc you should have your ATF paperwork handy if you are shooting there weapons you need to pay the range fee and buy there ammo gun use is free but you got to give it back when your done
Well now I have known them for quite a while now and I guess it depends on which one your talking to for instance Cindy raahauges it would be yes ma'am as for her brother pat well we tend to call him all sorts of things but a proper pronunciation of the last name is raa hog.ahh if your still not sure just call them on the phone and listen to them say it when they answer and yes you can shoot your .338 there
Avoid the weekends and go in the am
Yes, but you are only 25 yards back
Sporting clays
Your mags need to be CA legal. And currently the only restriction is you can't buy or sell a high capacity magazine. Possession is currently in the court.
No you can shoot all three at the pistol range and as for targets paper or steel no bottles or things like fruit that makes a mess
No only an occasional police dept training thing other than that they are not set up for the lighting that it would take plus the noise is a problem with the area residents so shooting is kept to daytime hours
Contact raahauges or turners sporting goods about a hunter safety class then purchase a hunting licence but as for were you are going to find a buffalo in this state is questionable you might want to talk to the dept of fish and game or the soix Indians in Montana good luck kemosabee by the way just why do you want to shoot a buffalo anyway that's about as sporting as going to a dairy and shooting a cow a real hunter would put on a loin cloth and feathers then crawl into the Hurd and spear one with a stick just ask Ted nugent
Ca I'd will work fine as long as it has a picture
Red key yes other wise no you wouldn't have time to shoot
Youth safari day in July I think check there web site for the date
To answer your question, yes they have targets you can purchase or you can bring your own but no bottles ,televisions fruit or Donald Trump pictures other than that you can shoot at most anything and a quick word to the wise get there early like 7:00am or you might have to wait an hour or two have fun
You can bring any CA-legal firearm
Bring your own. They have something you stick it on
$35 range fee plus ,42 cents a target with a 15%discount to cover broken targets that may come out of the machine the course for sporting clays has been upgraded and is looking real Sharp and that makes it more enjoyable there groundskeeper is doing a great job on improving the place
Yes but only 3 bays are big enough for steel. You either get there first or you're guaranteed to leave
I would take my renewal slip and show proof that you're new one is on the way and that the picture on you're I'd matches you
I was told NO just last week for a 12gauge shotgun
Not sure brother. Have you practiced,
Yes there are several in Norco on hammer and in corona and all are but minutes away from raahauges
As long as it's CA legal you should be fine. I was shooting shotguns in my private lane without issue.
Yes, I've been bringing my kids since they were around that age.
Thirty dollar range fee per person gun rental is free but you must buy there ammo you also Need targets $5 safety glasses $3 ear plugs$2 If you go on the weekend go early or plan on waiting in line for an hour or. Two your best bet is the shotgun course no wait same range fee 48 cents a target and more fun
It's $38 for the personal shooting bays for 3hrs... you can shoot any firearm up to 50cal
Yes. Just be aware the private lanes are not 100yrds, if you're shooting rifles at it.
No. Pretty much no ranges in California that I know of allow steel tipped or steel core since it is considered armor piercing
They have some weapons for rent and ammo for sale. Or you can bring your own. See their website for what's available.
