Everyone was so friendly and the groomers did a great job with my dog π

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, also it was 1 stop shopping and saved us alot of hassles for being stocked up on supplies for our entire array of animals, I was very impressed and highly recommend them.

Overall I've been happy with this Petco location. I think they do a good job training the groomers and the store is generally clean. They occasionally get in unique or interesting tropical fish for aquariums which I appreciate. The fish tanks look like they could use more care but I know right now everyone is short staffed because of Covid. Staff are always very friendly and they give my dogs lots of love. I feel there are some critical areas where they have room for improvement. First the dog clearance bins are very confusing. Prices are not well marked and often unmarked so you don't know what the items in the bins actually cost. Next, and this has happened to me twice in the past year, there's an item marked that it is on sale and you go to buy it at the register. The sale does not come up however on the cashier's end and this is happening because they're leaving tags out for sales that have expired. The cashier does not honor the expired sale even though they're still advertising it so then you're unexpectedly forced to buy the item at full price or not get it. I think they could do a better job removing old tags and I think if they do not remove a tag they should honor the sale.

I buy my fish food here quite often. I was in there about 3 weeks ago and bought a fish and within 3 days the ick showed up and infected another healthy fish that was also in my quarantine tank. I mentioned to the person working that the saltwater tanks were filthy. Today they are even worse than before. I talked to the manager and showed her how bad they were and pointed out some more sick fish not quarantined and her answer to me was "they are short staffed". I do not see this as a viable excuse for any of it. I have done retail management and I know it can be challenging sometimes. These are still living creatures reliant on humans for their care. Is it store policy for the lack of care and is selling sick fish knowingly?
