Standard recycling center. Small parking lot but most dont stay long. Friendly staff. Sort items yourself, staff weighs it, get refunded. 👍

This is a solid, no-frills recycling business. If you're expecting friendly customer service, you're not going to get that here, but this place is professionally run. I've been here about 20-30 times, and the wait time is usually pretty short. Although this place is supposedly open at 8:30 in the morning, they usually open their gates between 8:45 and 9:00 am.

After today's visit I will never be returning. I was literally there for 1 hour just to recycle 9 bags of cans and bottles. The workers were arguing while we all just stood outside in 90° weather. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

At the corner of Redwood Street and Fairmount Avenue. For the few visits I've made, I've never had to wait long. They are very efficient. You grab the big metal trash/recycling bins and fill them. Fill them with plastic bottles and aluminum cans in separate bins. Glass bottles can go in a green plastic trash can. Once you have them full, take them over to get fill. They weigh each container then hand the weights to the guy in the shack. He records the information, gives you a receipt to sign. Then hands you the money. I like to ask for a copy of the receipt. If you don't ask, they won't give it to you.
