Recently my brother passed away and we wanted to send a nice floral basket to his memorial service, as we couldn’t make the trip due to a prior commitment. It was recommended we use Walter Knoll Florist in South County, so I called and placed an order with Terry? (not sure). While we had no problem with the floral basket that was delivered, we did have a problem with the card that was included with the basket, as the message was just as important as the basket. After spending 20 minutes on the phone dictating the message to him, he ended up misspelling several words. Why would you have someone who can’t spell taking floral orders? Come on, who spells referred “refereed” and Velveeta cheese “Velveta”?? After we received a confirmation e-mail we noticed not only the misspellings, but the salutation was completely missing. We called back and after spending another 20 minutes on hold we spoke with Nicole, who was very apologetic and said she would personally fix the misspellings, add the salutation and would send us a confirmation of the changes. However, she must have forgotten because we received no confirmation. The basket and card went out to my brother’s widow with all the misspellings and no salutation. Being an English teacher, she noticed the misspellings right away. From reading Walter Knoll’s Google reviews, looks like a few others have had this same problem with misspellings. What makes it most irritating is that we called and they had plenty of time to fix it but didn’t. Incompetent!!

WKF does it right! I requested a basket of live blooming plants for my daughter. At some point in the delivery process, one of the plants was damaged. I made a short call to an extremely courteous customer service department. The next day my daughter received a replacement for the whole design— absolutely beautiful, even better than expected. Above and beyond +

My fiance ordered me flowers a week ago. The lilies took a week to bloom (some still haven't) and the roses are already dead. Wish I could've experienced the full bouquet together. Disappointed.
