My inspiration for posting this review comes Barbara not replying to my email on the 14th (it is the 27th). I paid premium for an F1 cavachon (50/50 CKC/BF) from Barbara. My 'F1' cavachon's DNA results came back as 52.7% Bichon Frise, 28.6% Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 14.2% Maltese, and 4.5% unspecified or unknown. My puppy came home with fleas and worms. Barbara told me he had been treated, my vet informed me that was either completely untrue or close enough because it was an ineffective treatment and effective treatments exist. I absolutely love my dog but I paid premium for a guaranteed breed of dog in good health and instead received a dog with fleas and worms that was of breeds not as advertised. Further, when the breed issue was brought up, I've heard nothing back. I really love this dog but I'll not be returning to Fischer Farms and recommend you consider looking elsewhere, too.

*UPDATE* May 2021: We now have TWO pups from Barbara! The new puppy is even more well behaved compared to her brother, which is saying something because we were so impressed with him. She hardly ever whines, doesn’t bark and has only had a handful of potty accidents. Got a clean bill of health from the vet, no issues at all. Seriously cannot say enough about Fischer Farm and Barbara’s care. We love our pups :,) — My boyfriend and I took home a sweet tri-color Cavachon from Barbara back in April of 2020 (10 weeks in the photo on the "HOME" mat, 1 year in the others). He is the perfect dog—so well behaved and an absolute sweetheart. He's obedient, independent, loves to play fetch and cuddles all day! He also was never destructive, overly hyper or annoying like young puppies can be. A lot of people didn't believe us when we'd say he was still a puppy because he was so well mannered! He has so many amazing qualities that we’re getting ready to take home another in May 2021! From Barbara, of course. We waited about 6 months. Barbara really knows what she’s talking about and cares for all of the pups on the farm.. we’re so grateful for her, for our little Jacques and puppy on the way!

These dogs make fantastic family companions and boast low allergen / minimal to no shed coats . .
