They just got done remodeling this motel and it's really really nice, especially for the price! Only one side is finished but the side that is done is great, all new everything, all the way down to the bedspreads. The person that runs it is very nice and helpful and friendly and makes you feel very welcome. It's up on a hill so you have a good view of the mountains here. It's really worth your money & your time to check it out!

What a great experience. We were completely exhausted and needed a place to rest so we could continue our trip. The rooms were very clean and it was a cozy quiet place right off the freeway easy for us to hop back on!

Several of our family rented rooms on January 8 for a funeral in Rutland. The room was fairly clean; but in the middle of the night; getting up to go to the bathroom; discovered that there was no water!!!! We paid for a place to stay to get ready for a funeral; and ended up going to the store to buy water in order to get ready! No apology from the owners; no offer to help the situation; and absolutely no refunds!!!!! The springs on the bed stuck into our backs.....just a horrible stay on an already awful situation....NEVER stay there.....We were warned by other family members that had stayed there before; about the murder there; the drug situation; but we didn't listen....but it was even worse than we heard about!!!! Just stay away from the Meigs Motel.....

GREAT HUNTERS MOTEL, NOT A HONEYMOON SUITE BUT A NICE "GUY SPOT"! CLEAN PLACE, COMFORTABLE MATTRESSES, GOOD HEAT, GREAT STAFF AND PLENTY OF SPACE IN THE ROOMS. NO WI-FI WHICH WAS A LET DOWN BUT THEY DO HAVE A REAL ICE MACHINE FOR FILLING YOUR COOLER. I'LL BE BACK NEXT YEAR.
