This is the best comicbook store in our area! It's a mom and pop shop and I always love visiting when I have a chance. They always handle our comic books with care and are super friendly.

This may not be fair cause it happen a few years ago and hopefully they've done a better job now, but here's my experience with this store. Myself and my 3 boys were going there for roughly 3 years and had a large pull list going. We would pick up our books weekly and spend anywhere between $60-$80 a week at the store. Well, we ended up taking a vacation for a couple of weeks and I received a call from the owner telling me the books were stacking up, told him no worries we were on vacation and we would swing by as soon as we returned. Now this was on a Wed that he called me, we were at the store on Saturday to pick up the books, and to our surprise, the owner said we took to long and had to return the books to the shelves. I would get it if we were just starting there an he was concerned about that inventory just sitting in the pull boxes, but we had gone there weekly for 3 years!!! The owner didn't even care that we were unhappy with what he did and turn he's back to us and continued doing what he was doing! It's been 2 years now, and 2 of my 3 boys until this day don't care to get back into collecting comic. Thanks a ton Metropolis Comics!!

Unprofessional. Rude. The customer service representative who identifies as “Luna” will not go very far in life with her poor attitude and overall lack of knowledge especially in this industry. Beware of comic book sets that are taped together as the sets in this store are sold INCOMPLETE. My friend and I (who dabble in the industry) were blown away by how unprofessional and dirty the store was. The male who identified as Michael could most likely benefit from training his staff to A: know how to answer the phone professionally, B: train staff to speak coherently to clients and C: if staff has a personal opinion- never refer to items for sale in the store as “they are mine”. Very poor experience and over all, I stick behind the label given WITCH. Also, if a customer places items on the counter and advises they will not be purchasing, do not follow clients outside to yell at them. Buyer BEWARE.

Comic books, no trading cards but they have them. Toys, graphic novels, tshirts and some statues too.
Depends what type of comic book issues you have? Certain comic book stores do a pricing on rare classic good condition books or was you looking into grading your books?
Most comics are 3.99 and 5.99 depending on what your looking for novels can range from 12 to 25 or more as well it's always better to go in and check it out talk to Mike hes the owner hell help you with whatever questions you have
Call them and ask...they are top. Notch
They done buy comics there and they do have a number to call...dnt know it by heart but google it.
This is, in fact, a good start to begin a collection. Over timely visits, making friends with the store owner and clerks, they will help you complete your active collection and get you started on a new. If they don't have it they will help you find it or help you collect something similar.
Yes it does. We will be open from 9am-11pm. It is first come first serve and you can choose up to 5 of issues of the free comic books we have.
Yeah they have manga and many other genre's.
At the moment I do not think so. I went there a month ago and it wasn't hiring, but maybe give them a call. I know they also stay open till 11 p.m most nights too which is awesome! Try calling to be certain. Have a good one.
ever week
Yes they do
They have some funko pops and funko pins, a few superhero action figures, anime, and other pop culture figures
Usually around 12 dollars and 40 the most. I do see some people dropping close to 100 every week.
No bake dea. You should call them.
Keep mask on, at all times.
Yes they do. And if they don't have what you need, they'll do their best to find it for you.
How much do u have
Call the store and check if they have it.
I don't understand Spanish
There are a few mostly in the back issues but they mostly deal with neeer comics
They don't really buy back or older collectors issues. You might want to try a store like the golden apple on Melrose. Or try selling it on eBay. Metropolis is better for brand new and recent issues as well as graphic novels.
Yes they do and they do a pack per round won. So if you win a round you get a pack, if you go undefeated you get additional packs. They also do promo cards.
They have all the current issues: amazing, spectacular, spidey and deadpool, renew your vows etc.
I've heard them on the phone before stating that they don't. You're better off selling them on eBay or Amazon. Very few shops will buy old comics. You could try the golden apple comic book store.
No
Yes they do and they are God damn good at it, I got a pull list and I never had a problem missing comics. Check it out you won't regret.
