I called on Friday morning to double check if they were open to the public, even though their website said they were, considering all the recent shut downs again due to COVID. I didn’t want to drive two hours from LA for nothing since we needed to get certified copies of some old records. The person who answered my call was so polite and not bothered, and also took the extra step of checking to make sure they had this 25 year old record. When we arrived a few hours later, and near closing time, their entrance was so organized. They completed temperature checks, then another person assisted with the check in, to determine the nature of our visit, who then directed us to another person who filled out a form concerning our visit, and then finally to the screening/metal detector portion. Then I handed the form filled out by the previous person to the next person who walked us to where we needed to get our documents. If you ask me, it was a bit too much customer service that I’m not use to... considering this is court. It’s shocking because I would compare it to getting good customer service at the DMV, which is unheard of and never happens. Don’t mind all the police officers hanging out at the front lobby in a good mood. I felt like I was in an episode of The Twilight Zone. Anyways, we get to the window and the clerk asks me whose criminal records I’m trying to get. I point to the sweet looking Asian elderly woman next to me and say “oh it’s my mom’s records.”

2nd floor Civil Filing. Went right after lunch and the place was deserted. Got in and out in under 30 minutes. The young lady that assisted me was beyond measure. Kind and very professional, she explained everything so there was no confusion on my end. She took the time to answer my questions and was very helpful. Parking was not to bad. The parking meters all take Quarters and they have APPLE PAY available so you just tap you phone to the meter and save the worries about your meter expiring while you're in Court. Nice feature. So set up you phone for apple pay people and save yourself a ticket.

Jury Duty - Its your duty and make the best of your time. First day of Jury duty typically starts at 7:45 for selection Getting there Parking - try early bird at Horton Plaza for $9. Its 4 blocks away and a quick walk. Trolley - Santa Fe depot (green line) is 5 blocks away and orange line stops in front of the building. You can get a pass for the first day. Building Security remember this is a secure building. metal detectors and xray for the bags No glass bottles and belts need to come off Orientation You get a quick video and we had a judge explain the need for jurors. We don't live in a dictatorship, so better your peers judging your vs. a firing squad. You need to complete a form with your juror card so the court knows you are attending. Waiting After the orientation, you wait. Every couple of hours a group is called. So you need to stay in the area and wait for your name to be called. Groups of 50 are called for selection. Lunch If you haven't been picked, lunch is 11:30 to 1:15 PM. There are a lot of places to eat. but its not cheap. The cafe in the building across from the waiting room is not worth sticking around. Tips - Take trolley if you have time or use early bird at Horton Plaza Bring a book. WiFi is fast (enough). Bring a battery pack for your phone or tablet. There is 1 microwave in the attached room. Bring your own lunch or snacks. Its a bit chilly, bring a light jacket. I was OK with long sleeve shirt.

Neat nice newly built Superior Court, much better than the one at Broadway, very clean and spacious. Long lines in the morning for jurors and others but after the initial batch, there is not much. I believe a good time to come for jury duty would be 8:30 where you can skip the video and still deliver your report card.

Park at a trolley station outside of the downtown area, then, ride the rails to avoid the traffic and lack of free parking; otherwise, keep your eyes peeled for any spot you can find in a paid parking lot/structure.
Public work Service Program I believe
no court will open again on April 6, everything extended til then
How can I find out if I have court tomorrow San Diego California
Just show up and look at the posted calendar. Unless the case requests a closed courtroom you should be able to sit in.

You don't have to file a wil, but the 2018 fee charged to file a probate petition is $435. There will be a $435 filing fee to file the petition for final distribution of the estate assets
Probably not. But it depends what the hearing was for. You should contact the court immediately.
Ask information desk
Park at Horton Plaza if you get there before 9 am it's $9.00 all day.
Whenever they want.
u have to go down there. Go to the information desk and let them know why u are there and your ID/DL. They will put u down to see the judge that day. U see the judge when he/shes calls u up and state your case. They should work with u and have that warrant removed. Be polite and always answer with yes or no your honor. Good luck!
Depends on the service. I believe most departments allow walk in's but appointments are usually preferred.
There is no free parking. There are paid lots and metered street parking sround the courthouse. The other option is to park at a transit station and take the trolley to the courthouse.

Yes, you can go there in person to get a copy, or you can call and they can mail it to you.
No. I'd suggest taking the bus or the tram. But if you really need to park, Horton plaza also has decent rates if you come early.
4th floor.
$35 for the day
It's free but its a first come first served also you could park in a meter for free with your placard
They can probably provide you with a copy if yours has been misplaced. You should probably call just to be sure.
I believe there is someone you can talk to near the elevator on the 1st floor about that. They might be able to direct you to the chief of the duilding. If not ask a guard to tell you where the chief of staff or head of security is.
No
You need to see an attorney for something that important. Don't rely on the advise of strangers.

No

You can also take a serkan station where Allan free parking and so you take the trolley more Serrano and you have access to your vehicle faster
I believe you can go to the business office on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse and ask about your case. Usually it is better to send the Jury Duty Notice back.
