Ross Dress for Less

My gf and I went to this ross today and found these great shoes, but they apparently mark all shoes with permanent marker. She asked for a discount because of the damage and they refused in the rudest possible way and tried to wipe it off per her request, which tarnished the color of the shoe as pictured below. The employees wouldn't even make eye contact and said that "y'all" would change the prices if they didn't mark them, which struck us both as weird considering that she is person of color. Very bad experience, hostile energy

I went there today, and guess what, only one cashier for this big store handling queue of more than 20 customers waiting…. And there were more 4 cashier counters but no employee I saw except that one cashier guy… EITHER HIRE EMPLOYEES OR CLOSE THE STORE.. after spending for 2 hours shopping and when going for check out to wait for one more hour , is this immigration checkpoint or a store.. frustrating.. 😤

20 people in line and only two cashiers are open. cashiers are very slow. a huge number of empty shelves. very meager assortment of goods.

This ross store is small compare to other locations but they have amazing products, I will definitely go there again.
