LA Mar, which is located within the Mandarin Oriental, is a beautiful spot in downtown Miami for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The service, atmosphere, and food are all fantastic. I couldn't recommend this establishment highly enough!

We went for the Mother's Day Brunch Special and it did not disappoint! Great variety in the buffet and great complimentary cocktail and menu selection, service was very attentive and orders arrived very fast, not to mention our spectacular view over Miami Brickell Bay. Always a pleasure, a must try like any other of Gaston Acurio's restaurants, he knows what he's doing and he definitely is one of the best Peruvian Chef's in the world!

This place is what you'd expect out of a 5 star restaurant. The food was some of the most delicious fine dining food I've had. The server was on point, we really loved his vibe and knowledge of the food and drinks. I'm absolutely returning here. Thanks!

Are at la mar breakfast while I was staying at the mandarin hotel.. They do have a la carte and Buffet. I tried the buffet so far for the second day and they are pretty ok. Good selection of fruits, cheeses, bread and bagels, cereals as well as smoked salmon. You can ask the chef to cook your eggs they way you like . Workers are nice and the place is clean too. They have a beautiful view. We dine in at sunrise and we did enjoy the view and the food . I would love to dine again during my stay

Make a reservation as it is a very busy place. Without a reservation, it is certain that you will not find a place regardless of the day of the week.

I have eaten there and there are several Peruvian dishes that are not based on fish: chicken, lomo saltado, arroz chaufa, etc. Look at the menu
