SAS Business Lounge, Newark International Airport

Epic fail. My flight is at 12 midnight and the lounge closed at 9.30pm. There are no lounge for the Turkish Airline flight. Unbelievable.

Poor food choice. Only a premade wrap and some salad with croutons. A lot of beverages, especially alcoholic though. We had some nice chairs, but later it got a little crowded.

A good lounge accessible for UA gold members flying in economy on purely domestic itineraries. However this falls short compared to the Lufthansa lounge just across the hall. The food over there is hot, self-serve and a lot better quality. This lounge only serves pre-wrapped foods and it was still tasty but not as good as the LH lounge. Plenty of self-serve alcohol here though.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. Food selection is not great. It's definitely an American interpretation of a Nordic offering. Almost something like a college student would approximate after a semester abroad. Drink selection is over the top. Probably the best part of the whole lounge.
