A treasure of a spacious park in miami, only issue is closing time and locked gates also closed to kayaks and canoes.

SEWELL PARK IS OPEN AGAIN! After being closed for more than a year, it’s finally open. It’s a very relaxing park next to the Miami River. There are shaded seating areas and a play park for kids. It’s dog friendly and has poop bags and trash bins on site but no water stations. Parking is a bit limited and the area that was once available to launch kayaks is now blocked off. Great place to spend time nonetheless.

My dog likes this place, so I need to make this review. Besides of walking with your fella, the park is great for having your mind rest. Atmospheric spots, with the views on the river. Besides it's clean and taken care of.

I like this park, it's very shady Forrest like atmosphere nd with the Miami River along it as well. The kids playground area could use some updating. It's been like that for many years small and old slides. Needs a bit of an update and some swings for the kids maybe. It's also a pet friendly but on a leash park. Just remember to grab a baggy on your way in to pick up behind your doggy.

The city can approve it is a good idea so more people can come to have a good time.
I am glad that I am pleased with my decision. We hope that soon we will have a gym park for everyone who likes the gym.
Yes is correct
Thank u. I did report it and I did send the pictures to headquarters. In a prior incident, the employee told me he does not pick up dead animals and voo doo stuff. So, Im guessing when he saw me taking pictures of the offerings and the plates in trees, he freaked. The only thing I ask is for them to do the job they get paid for. No magic, no miricles. Keep the park clean. Someone told me that I could even report this to code compliance so that the park is sited. But lets see how it goes. Ill be there later to see if the things have been picked up. And he best not approach me as Im going inside in full vid mode. If he approaches me, I will be recording and call the police
I was recently across from the park, at River Landing, and I did see one individual walking the circumference of the park-along with a city cleaning crew. At this point I would say yes, though I do not like to mislead/misinform anyone. With that said, you can contact the Miami-Dade Parks & Recreation at (305)416-1300 monday-friday from 8am-5pm, and be absolutely positive. Thank you and feel free to contact me at anytime, please. Giraldo all we need to put a gym in that park we have to put a grain of sand thank you I hope the owner does his part and can approve
He is already under surveillance. The park is from the city of Miami. It can not be changed. The Owner, Mr. Sewell, ceded this park so that he would not be changed. It stays NATURAL
It's open from morning until last night.
Hello I wanted to know, if you can use the park. For a small party for my son
