A nice lunch retreat before things get busy in the evening, my experience at Gracie's has been mostly made during daylight trips for a bite and good company. Not a fan of the night scene, but the food is fantastic!

So this place was a total vibe ..music was cool dining outside option was great but full so we walked near the upstairs bar inside. First the positive ..our host was great! Can't recall the name but she had purple stripes in her hair and pigtails on top. Anyway a couple of hiccups but she got my custom order right and she was SUPER personal we loved her!! Now..prior to dinner there was a slight wait and we walked up to the bar (upstairs in the more enclosed area) the girl w the glasses and curly hair acknowledged us but then finished whatever she was doing ..then took an order front he waitress ..about 6 min into standing there I'm like ok we're next. She then took a drink.. then went back to the patrons at the bar as if we'd not been waiting. Almost seemed to be avoiding us..was weird. Finally after so long the other barhost asked to help us and took our order and gratefully made slamming drinks!! I would have liked to give a 5 but that one host at the bar I'm hoping she was just having a difficult day or moment but she clearly wasn't in the mood to serve us for some reason.

Went for brunch and ordered the Chef Omelette. Also ordered a bottle a champagne for mimosas with cranberry juice. Good place to hang out and have food with friends. Food was good too and the waiter was attentive.

Nate is a tremendous bartender apparently he's been here for a decade and I can see why greatly exceeded our expectations with respect to service. Would also like to mention Grant bar back extraordinaire and Andi the hardest working waitress I have seen in years. Large beer and alcohol selection which Nate helped us navigate fantastic time will definitely stop in next time in salt lake City
