My Family ate here on Wednesday 8/10, we were holding a memorial dinner for a family member. It was my first time eating there. We were set up in the tap room. our waitress Rene (I apologize if I spelled that incorrectly) was the most amazing waitress I have come across in my life. She was hilarious, extremely fast, kind, and an all out joy to talk to and be around. The food was good! Rene accommodated any request and made sure we were all happy and our drinks were always full. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such amazing care of us. We appreciate you more than you know.

Service and wait time were excellent. This was our first time here. Our meat plates were tasty and the corn bread fantastic....but the (side of) mac n cheese was pretty flavorless unfortunately.

So disappointing. I picked up the brisket platter with mac and cheese and coleslaw and an extra side of fried okra to take home. My husband was hungry but I wasn't as much so I thought I'd just take a bit off his plate. For a steep $24 and something called a "platter", as well as seeing they had a specific smaller portions menu, I figured it would be plenty enough for us to share. It wasn't even enough for one person. And honestly, I don't know if it could even be called brisket. It was two meager slabs of unseasoned meat with some of their strange BBQ sauce on the side. Despite getting the "juicy" meat vs the "lean" meat, parts of it were dry. The fried okra was about on par with what you can get from Popeye's but for $2-3 more. The mac and cheese was strange tasting, though not bad. I think they might add dijon mustard or something to it. The cornbread muffin was probably the best part, but I can make those at home pretty easily and without having to sink my hard earned money on sad, dry, flavorless meat. Husband seemed to like the coleslaw, I guess. We went because he lived in the area a decade ago and said it was fantastic. He was gravely disappointed as well. Other reviewers also seem to mention that this place has really gone downhill. Seems like they're coasting on all the awards hanging on their walls. It's a darn shame. Check out the Hawaiian BBQ place next door instead.

Went in by myself, looking for a Bbq throw down. I'm from NC, so I am a little judgmental when it comes to Bbq. This place hit all the marks a southern boy required. Good ribs. Perfectly seasoned. The half rack was plenty, and under the half rack, I found an extra lil end section of Ribs, all crusty and burny in a good way, lol. The crusty part, is the best part in my opinion. Back home we serve Burnt Ends off the Butts. The regular smoky bbq sauce was tangy, smoky, and delicious. The Potato Salad was some of the best I ever had, and the Mac and Cheese was on point. The sweet iced tea with lemon wedge, which is a requirement of any good Bbq House, just topped things off for me. The lady who waited on me was sweet and efficient. She asked if I wanted any Apple, Peach, or Blueberry Crisp, with Ice Cream. I wanted them all, but alas, the ribby goodness left no room for dessert. My loss. I feasted. I made a mess of the table. They understood. I left happy and bursting at the seams. I felt I got a good meal for the price point. It's not cheap. Nor would I call it expensive. Good Cue costs money to produce. This was good Cue. 👍
