Gerber's has it all. Salt and fresh water fish and exotic pets!! The staff is very knowledgeable about the products they sell and all the animals.

Only giving the 2nd star because of the great selection of fish and that I had good luck with the fish and corals I bought there. That was until I decided to buy some of the bright Well water from there. I bought water and performed a WC like I normally would have one night. The next morning all my corals had closed up, and my fish were dead along with a emerald crab. I checked my levels as I did everything I normally would have with a WC (made sure the new water was the same temp as the tank, ect.) when I tested my levels my ammonia was through the roof. My water was also cloudy indicating there had been a crash. There was a bit of water left in the bucket I used so I tested it and it had sky high ammonia. I even went back and bought another bucket of water to test and you can see the results in my picture below. So not only did their product cost me over $300 in fish (snowflake clown pair, mandarin goby, blackcap basselet, and a 6 line wrasse) but when I emailed to tell them, they didn’t even respond back. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back. If you’re in Dayton, head to Aquatics Galore. They’ll at least care and provide customer service.

This place was extensive and had a really broad variety of both saltwater and freshwater fish! If you’re looking for something specific, look no further; chances are, they have it here. Gerber’s also has a really large selection of supplies you will need to start a new aquarium; saltwater or fresh water. Massive selection of tanks, filters, kits and supplies of all sorts. I’m looking to start a new aquarium soon, and Gerber’s will be my main go-to. Check it out; you’ll have a lot of fun seeing the thousands of fish they have on display!

Sometimes. I would call before hand and check availability if your looking for a specific type
Yes, HUGE selection of each. And yes, they have expensive fish but they also have a lot of inexpensive fish too. You can also get RO water and filtered salt water there to fill your tanks, around $4.25 for 5 gallons of RO- fresh water (bring your own bucket)
I found several pieces of stone they charge by the pound. I also got some spider wood starts at like 10 and go up by size
Try adding liquid garlic, you can get it at gerbers, and sometimes it takes a day or two for the fish to get acclimated to new environment
They do.
They have barbs neon tetras clownfish koi and goldfish there's a freshwater and salt water side to pick out what kind of fish you looking for
You must wear a mask and they only let in a certain number of people. I would recommend trying to go at a non-busy time.
