Ok, I rarely give 5 star reviews, but our time at Brigantine was well worth it! Our waiter was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic! We ordered a crab cake appetizer, and honestly, it riveled anything I had growing up on the Chesapeake Bay. Our fish meals were served hot and were flawless. Hats off to the bartender who made those Mai Tais. Perfect! We've already made plans for our next visit.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Great service! This is an upscale seafood restaurant with a great menu. They have daily specials and their every day menu has something for everyone. We got Shrimp & Grits, Swordfish, and the Red Snapper Special of the day. All delicious and amazing. Mud pie for dessert was perfect to share! Definitely recommend- nice enough for a fancy date night, dinner with friends, or business dinner!

I should have listened to the others who said this place is overpriced and underwhelming. I didn't necessarily have a bad experience because the staff was helpful and we had nice seats but $200 for 4 people to have a mediocre (at BEST) meal is ridiculous. I got 2 sides (a small plate and a salad), hubby got the steak special and it was well done, not medium like he ordered (there was no pink inside his steak), and the other 2 in our party weren't impressed either. My octopus was overcooked and not very flavorful. Again, I wouldn't mind paying for great seafood and entrees, but that's not what we got. Who are actually doing okay until the bill showed up and we realized it was going to be over $200 once we added the tip!? LESSON LEARNED, we won't ever be returning!! San Diego has way too many options to settle for eating mediocre food.

Had a great time tonight at the Brigantine. Staff fun and lively great conversation. Food was amazing.. Taco Tuesday menu on point, my favorites are the fish tacos and the spicy chicken. Shrimp cocktails were so fresh and the oysters yummy. Try the grilled oysters you won't be disappointed. Oyster rock so good so good. The atmosphere was energetic and it made for a lovely evening.
