It's been a pretty consistent environment there; marginally pleasant workers who couldn't care less about efficient customer service still manage to throw together your order and get you on your way.... eventually. The place is kept nice and clean, and it's usually pretty quiet if you go inside to eat, so that keeps me a returning customer.

Been there a few times ..food was up the par but ones I've encountered a rude employee..she took super long to get my food ..I asked for some bbq sauce and mayo thst took her few min to get and she only gave me one each when I asked for couple each ..I'm not judging the whole crew based on one person having a bad day bit it was unpleasant. Place is clean ..never used the bathroom

Is 1/5/2022 and I am changing my review to just plainly AWFUL...Today I went to the burger king located on Clay St and Broad St, Newark NJ. I ordered from the BK App a Whopper, medium fries and soda. Right away I encounter a problem with the cashier which advised me it was a Whopper Jr. I indicated that in the BK app it was supposed to be a Whopper with medium fries and soda. We went back and forth and I insisted it was straight out of the BK App.....Well, you'll probably think problem solved end of story....... Nope, they gave a bag with the "burger" and the fries, etc....i went to my car but I decided to check the bag and the content...To my amaze, they served me a Whopper plain with just cheese. I went back to the store and show the Manager or whomever she was and gave me another wrapped burger. Now, I was apprehensive about the whole situation and the lack of ethics from the team working the lunch hour. I decided to unwrapped the burger and it was totally awful, the replaced burger looked worst that the plain with cheese only they served me minutes before. This time the burger was all mushy, the lettuce and tomatoes looked awful and distasteful that I decided to get get my money back. With all this lack of ethics and poor management my hunger disappeared and wont ever stop at that particular store eve. I will make it my duty to tell about this situation to all my coworkers, friends, family members and whomever I can. I will make sure to anyone I be able to tell about the lack of ethics of the BK Team and Clay St and Broad St, Newark NJ are all about.... To tell straight out...It looked like a vomit....
