Overpriced, low quality food ($6 for a medium plate or average tortilla chips and half a cup of salsa??) and servers that repeatedly treated me like an inconvenience (rolling eyes and walking away while I was still asking for something to outright telling me "You're killing me" for needing a receipt) are my top reasons for not wanting to go back here. They get one star because they're very dog friendly out on the covered patio, but everything else about the visit and interacting with my waitress was pretty terrible.

Awesome place. Great Rubens and Pizza. Though I don't have a dog myself I got to spend an hour or so with several nearby. Also has a nice rotating selection of drinks and shareable pitchers.

Yummy food you will need 25 napkins for. Reasonably priced and cozy atmosphere. Waitresses were sweet and did a good job! I got the veggie hot sandwich, friends got reubens and loved them. A large group of us went on a friday evening around 8:00 and we got in right away.

Wonderful ambiance. Dark and warm. Candles. Nice music. Very friendly neighborhood place IMO. Traditional menu circa 1970. Very tasty Ruben. A bit heavy. But that’s a Ruben.

We follow local and state COVID-19 guidelines for businesses. Some specific guidelines in place currently include; Dining outdoors only; Wait at bottom of stairs near front door to be seated; Masks required on the property, unless one is seated at their designated table; No groups larger than six; Groups separated by at least six feet (in some cases more); All tables are sanitized in between groups. Bathrooms are available, but no more than one person is allowed inside the bathroom, and people waiting are asked to wait outside. There's a lot more than meets the eye in keeping our staff, premises, and customers safe. In the 70s, before we built our deck, we were told by Budweiser that we sold the most Budweiser per square foot in the nation. Today, who knows. We sell more Boneyard RPM and Pfriem Pilsner than we do Budweiser, but we still sell a lot of Budweiser. With 16 beers and 2 ciders on tap, we sell a lot of cold, delicious draft beverages ... and now host a big beer garden where people can socially distance. I bet we sell the most Budweiser in Portland...would be interesting to know the answer to these big questions. :)
Since we are now hosting a beer garden so our guests may safely distance themselves while enjoying a cold brew, we no longer allow smoking on our property. Most smokers are fine having a smoke break off the property.
