Owner is nice, cards are pricey, but at this point everything is pricey so I cant dock points on that one. I would say this card shop would take 4th in card shops in Spokane, Spokane Valley, CDA and Post Falls.

Alan has been the best at re introducing me to the hobby. I grew up in a card shop but recently got back into the hobby. He’s been more than helpful & quickly it reminded me of why we got into the hobby in the first place. I was so naive about modern day cards & he is the perfect blend of old school & new school. Plus, I pulled some gems recently. Highly recommend.

Allen is such a kind person. Very knowledgeable and his passion for collecting translates to kids. So appreciative of a local hot-spot like this for kids to have experiences that are "old school" like my childhood. Highly Recommend.
Unless it is like a wrong back card, there is literally no value in them, they came from the junk era of sports cards. The only cards which have much value from that era are the Billy Ripken FF error from 89 Fleer and the Dale Murphy reverse negative error from 1989 Upper Deck.
I have 2x shaquille o'neal 1992 classic draft picks card C #1 and many other shaquille o'neal cards. Was going to try and sell them or is it even worth the hassle?

I think its certainly worth your time, depending on exactly what you've got for sure. Any rookies should sell well I would think. I collect football cards, but used to collect basketball in the late 80's through mid 90's. He sold very well back then! Hope this helps. Sports cards are big right now. Always worth a shot!
I have a signed baseball but don't know who the signatures are could u look at it n tell me who is on it n what there worth possibly

There is a new owner, so call the shop and ask on value.
I have a rare factory miss print Kobe card by Edge. From my research, there had only been a couple to go out. I seen one on EBay. Listed for $5k. If I bring it in, would you be able to help me put a value on the card?

Yes
I have a lot of Kobe cards that I would hate to part with but am hearing that they could go for a lot. When you appraise, do you also give a PSA number?
Brandon Holland | Jun 24, 2022
Spokane Valley Sportscards | Jun 24, 2022
I cannot assign a grade. You have to send your cards to psa to be graded in order to have a psa grade and slab.
Are you interested in buying some 2021 Chronicals Draft Picks Mega, Blaster, and Fat Packs? I also have come 2021 Contenders Blasters.

Probably not. His Hoops RC's only sell for a couple bucks.
I have a collection of sports cards. Can I bring them in and get an offer for the lot after you review them? Thank you for your time!

It will depend on what years they are from, whether there is a chance of being worth it. You'll have to let me know.
What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Wear a mask and try to keep some distance from others. At least for now.
How much would you give for pinnacle club NFL coins for?
Gary Adams | Aug 23, 2020
Spokane Valley Sportscards | Aug 23, 2020
Hey Gary,
I believe I answered this over the phone, but to make sure, these Pinnacle coins were over produced just like most everything from that era which killed most value.
Place is great. The owner is very knowledgeable about his cards and will give you good deals. Whether buying or selling, this is a good place to go and get lost in.
How much would you buy a 1960 Jim Brown card.
Edit : What do you think you'd estimate you'd offer,
Dylan Eaton | Aug 23, 2020
Spokane Valley Sportscards | Aug 23, 2020
It would depend on the condition of the card, which I would have to see to determine.
How much would you buy a three card/case display of Bo Jackson:
Football RC. Double Sport card in middle (bat on across shoulder-pads (black&white) picture in the middle), Baseball RC on the right side
Geoff Morgan | Aug 23, 2020
Spokane Valley Sportscards | Aug 23, 2020
Not really any demand for Bo rookies anymore. Sorry.
(FYI, The B&W card only books for 50¢).
I do, but it depends on who you have and from what years. Older is best (50's & 60's) or new hot players from the past couple years. Don't know anything about the Marvel cards.
It depends on who signed them and if they have certificates of authenticity.
I have hundreds of cards that I'm trying to get some money for if I drop them off can I get an appraisal
A Donais | Aug 24, 2019
Spokane Valley Sportscards | Aug 24, 2019
It will depend on what years you have if they have any value. 80's and 90's will have very little chance as they made way too many. Earlier than 1970, then possible. Let me know.
Not sure why someone answered for my shop, but it depends on some factors. What style is the basketball and does it have any certificate of authenticity with it.
Just pulled 2018 Allen & Ginter Stephen Strasburg Rip Card rip-34. Any interest whats the value and would you be interested in buying it?
Craig F | Aug 24, 2019
Spokane Valley Sportscards | Aug 24, 2019
Cool pull. Strasburgs sell between $35 & $50 on ebay. I probably wouldn't as I would just rip it and be a loser.
Do you think that a chipper jones #1 Draft pick #333 card is worth anything, also a Willie Mays & Stan Musial "Pride of the N.L." #138 is worth anything too? I live in missoula and it would take to long to drive out there to ask.
z z | Aug 24, 2019
Spokane Valley Sportscards | Aug 24, 2019
Chipper books for $4 and the other is around $25. (Don't have my price guides at home, so that is close). Neither sells at book value.
Have any pointers on telling the difference between an original 1952 Mickey Mantle #311 baseball card and a reprint. I really dont want to have to drive 3 hours for a reprint with no value.
Alicia Hill | Aug 24, 2018
Tatyanah Edgar | Aug 24, 2018
What you need to do is put the card up to the sun. If you can see light through the card, then it is not a reprint, for they used a different paper back then. Also look on the back, if it says 1952 topps on it, then it is a reprint, for Sy Berger, the topps creator, didn't call it topps back then. Hope that helps 😁
Getting back into the hobby now that my kid is interested. I read your information about 80's and 90's cards being worthless. That was a little depressing. Anyway do you have international soccer cards?
STEVE BIANCO | Aug 24, 2018
Spokane Valley Sportscards | Aug 24, 2018
I'm pretty sure you came in today, so you already have the answer. If not, yes on soccer.
