I ride my bike here all the time. CDM is fantastic. On the weekends and during the summer it gets crowded. Riding a bike is perfect because parking during the summer is NUTS!!! Great sunsets....Great picnics.... You are not supposed to drink alcohol, but EVERYONE is having wine, beer, etc. I've lived here 20 years and never have seen someone ticketed for drinking. One more thing. There are NO BATHROOMS at lookout point. However, you can walk down to the beach and use the bathrooms beachside. This requires a 1/4 mile walk down a steep hill because beachside parking is usually full during the summer. Additionally, you would be a fool to give up your parking spot up on the bluffs :-)
