So I came in this store yesterday hoping to just buy a simple rod and reel to catch ocean perch with. I've been to tons of fishing stores in other places and have never been turned away like this. I asked the guy up front what kind of pole he would recommend and he just says "Well, you should probably just go to bi mart and get a cheap salt water combo rod, but don't tell my boss I said that haha". Okay I guess. So we went out to the car and then decided we really just wanted to get stuff from this store we were already at. I mean, it's a fishing store. So we go back in and tell him that we're just gonna get something here, they obviously have everything, and I don't want a super cheap pole from crapmart. Instead he AGAIN turns down the opportunity to make a customer of me and just tell me several times how close the bimart is. I don't know if he did this because we're females, or if he is just really that lazy. In the end, we got to bimart and he never told us we needed a membership to go there and he lied about them selling "cheap saltwater combos". I ended up not getting to fish that day even though I went to a specialty fishing store. I really hope the owner sees this and realizes how much money he's losing over someone's laziness. We go to the beach there every month and probably would've came and bought something every time. What a jerk
