I've been shopping here for years and it's always been great however I had an exceptional experience today with Keith from the bakery. He pointed out the fresh baked bread and offered to slice it for me, just an outstanding experience.

Recently moved and happily walked to my new local “friendly” Fry’s. After selecting some produce and cheeses I stop by self checkout to double check that they accept Apple Pay. They do not although online there are places that say they do. The woman I spoke with didn’t smile or speak a nice way to me and before I could ask her if she could save my cart until I came back she turned away from me and began speaking to another employee. Called the store to tell them about my experience and I’m totally unimpressed with customer service altogether. I’ll skip Fry’s from now on. There are so many other options.

I've always had good experiences here, except when I do self-checkout. I not uncommonly end up saying nasty things back to the electronic voice and wanting to smash the screen! Of course, I feel that way at any grocery store since I usually take my own bags, buy produce that has to be weighed, and often have coupons that an employee has to enter. Store has good sales and sends targeted coupons for my common items. It's clean, staff is pleasant, and they rarely are out of items on special.
