Great swimming cove, go early on weekends. Pretty much deserted on weekdays. After swimming or before go hike the network of trails.

Overall pretty good place. Only gripe is beach spots get overtaken by people hanging out at the beach. Beautiful area.

Such a lovely Campsite that we tried to come back to it on our road trips return journey. Toilets were cleaned every morning we were there and were generally very clean with warm water. If you're in a smaller vehicle (non-RV), you'll be able to access the Campsites that directly overlook the lake, with immediate access to the water down a small slope. Highly recommendable! Maybe book in advance to secure the best possible spots, as we found this site to be sold out for at least a couple weeks when we came back later on.

We have enjoyed our stay here before and keep coming back. It's a peaceful spot along the river with swimming beach, boat launch, clean bathrooms/showers, and friendly on-site staff. The photo attached shows a busy holiday weekend and nicely spaced out spaces for RVs and tent campers.
