The beach is always great. My problem isn't the incorrect information on the website.. 1st parking is $20.00 and you can reenter with the receipt.. Which is great. Secondly is the Berms - prior to going we were told that you could not use them because they are reserved. We got there only to find out that we could if no one had reserved them. Seems to me everyone knows this so no one reserves. They have port a potties there but real bathrooms at the next lot. The berms were great trash cans galore, easy in and out. Over all a great experience.

Perfect day at the beach. Not too many people, the weather was nice, the parking was easy to find, and there were spectacular views. Always love listening to the waves crash on the shore

Great beach. Clean, not crowded in February. Water was very cold despite it being 90*f that day. But we had a great time making sand castles and darting in and out of the water.

In town for business, decided to see this beach and get a walk in on a Monday. Almost everything closed. A few people about biking and jogging and beachcombing. Big, wide, long beach, 2 mile asphalt trail, bike rentals here and there.

Dogs are allowed in your car, or RV and along the bike path (leash only), but not on the sand or water. There are two dog beaches where you can take your dog to play in the sand and water. PCH and the Santa Ana River, which is easily accessable from the Newport Beach side, has free but limited parking, pay lot close by. The other is Dog Beach, which is about 1/8 of a mile south of Seapoint St. They have a pay parking lot. All doggy etiquette applys anywhere you go.
Yes, but it isnt necessary. You have tons of fire pits to choose from up and down the beach. You can also reserve a covered table at certain areas of the beach.
The beach closes at 10pm daily. RVs can park however. The fee are $15/day for standard, $30/day for oversized vehicles.
No, Huntington State Beach does not allow you to stay overnight.
Is 15 dollars per car. All day. Week days are less people than weekends
