Ok we went to plymouth to the bear festival for 2 days check with Alex he was very friendly and Accommodating great guy went to the room as I always do I check sheets look at the room and take piture to CYA but this time it was bad 👎 dirty sheets like someone had some fun in them sheet and they were not changed Absolutely disgusting.this was in both beds ok my wife and I go thru a room and clorox wipe everything off and clean the room down because of my kidney transplant but the sheets I did not expect to see that not being changed so went to front desk Alex ask Alex to come and look and he did and agree it was Disgusting So we went in the back room to get brand new sheets pillows cases and Is comforters. He tore down the beds cleaned them up put new sheets on we helped put everything on and sprayed everything with lysol after he was done we finished cleaning the bathroom from the hairs in the shower and sink toilet. I would recommend that who ever you have cleaning the room being supervised and checked over since they do not do the job they were hired to do.take pride in whatever we do no matter the job.the management gave us a small break Financially for the 1st day. Wow please do better in cleaning

This stay, as all my stays over the years, was most pleasant. The best part of this motel is its staff. Manager Diane does an exceptional job at recruiting. training and giving leadership to her team. Everyone on the team seems totally commited to high quality guest services and to supporting each other. I especially enjoy being served by Felitia and Amanda. Well done to all!

Positive: It is a modest, but clean hotel. Location! We visited Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge and this is the best hotel in that area. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choices. The lady at the front desk was very kind to my young child.

Stayed January 14th-16th 2022 What a great place to stay! We came down attend a family members funeral and we needed somewhere to stay that was close to the church and family. We found this hidden gem and enjoyed our stay! The front desk ladies were spectacular! Our room was clean and did not smell of smoke. There was a lot of in and out from the rooms around us but it wasn't a disruption to us going to sleep. The breakfast in the morning is the star of the show! The best oatmeal I've had since my mother! Every staff member was accommodating, polite and did everything with a smile! We go down south to visit family at least 3 times a year. This is now our new place to stay when we do come down. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel that was there the weekend we visited. The made a sad occasion not stressful.
