The absolute WORST. An employee put in the wrong social security number under my name and for SIX MONTHS, I had to call multiple times a week to figure what what was going on with my insurance. In this time, I lost my Kaiser account (which has a 6 month easy renewal) so now I’m stuck with one of the worst options that have appointments available 3 months out. Now, I have to call yet again and see if I’m still able to still get back with Kaiser, thats going to be another months of a headache. This place treats people like disregards of society and hope they get investigated for their shady ways.

chances are if you need to be here then you're already in a bad situation but these people really help you make it worse by wasting time, giving you misinformation, having bad attitudes when you make them snap out of autopilot because they're simply not there. You can't help but wonder if they are privately harboring emotions of euphoria and glee when they look you dead in the eye with an emotionless face and ask you the dumbest, irrelevant information while deftly deflecting your questions with prepared responses and just a twinge of snark. Twilight Zone vibes Monday-Friday 9-5.

If you are black DO NOT expect to be serviced properly. You will be walked over, ignored, misunderstood, and stigmatized by the majority immigrant workers. Paperwork is constantly misplaced. No one can answer any questions definitively. I often wonder what the workers down stairs are compensated for. Being Bilingual is more important than being respectful and offering great costumer service. No way to hold them accountable except for writing a handwritten note. This county and its systems are a joke especially the Hayward Location. There is no pride in the work they do here. The babyboomers need to be let go....the county is in need of young fresh blood.

a similar question like this: My close classmate spent exactly the same hours studying, but I get a B while he gets an A. Why can he get better grade than I do? Ans: It's life. Life is never fair.
Once your case is approved you won't have a set worker. It's then a bank of people who work on issues as they come up. Calls come in all day, so it's hard to tell when there's a good time to call. There are workers that can help in each office f you want to come in. For meal delivery you can call meals on wheels, or 211 , which is like 411 but has different resources.
