This launch was perfect for our kayaks. Not too crowded and plenty of parking. Lots of places to launch from. Beautiful lake and plenty of it. Check it out

It was clean. Ramps were nice. At the North boat ramp, you enter into a no wake zone which continues for the majority of the lake. Many boaters either don't care or don't know that it is a no wake zone and fly through the water. They hog the ramps, too. Load and unload your stuff from the boat in the staging area not the docks. Don't stop and have a conversation for 15 minutes while your boat is in the water at the dock and others are waiting for you to move. Porta potties were horrible.

Great place for launching a kayak or canoe. Tons of parking and easy water access. Despite there being an actual boat launch this whole area of the lake is a no-wake zone and far too shallow for fast boats so it's mostly fishing boats or people putting boats in to taxi to the main lake because the two main ramps are full. So it's great for paddling.

Based on reviews of the dock, the area was exactly what I expected. I got my kayak in the water with no trouble at all. The lot is especially great for people hauling a trailer behind them as the spaces are extended to fit your vehicle and trailer. It's a good spot to get on the water and paddle some flatter water before the main body. I've seen deer, osprey, hawks, and bass jumping out of the water within my first half hour in the water.
