So beautiful and so much to see. There are tons of trails, picnic spots and educational signage throughout. Can't wait to go back!

Nice walk dogs allowed off leash in the am and on after 10am

It's a magical property with rolling fields, woods, waterfront, and coves. Great conservation/species protection work is underway. I saw new bat houses, bobolink dedicated areas, and shore plantings for their living shoreline project. A juvenile eagle was making clusters of ducks, buffleheads, and geese edgy. Bring binoculars and get up early; well-behaved dogs can romp off-leash between dawn and 10 am - at least for now. That might change if people don't respect the deadline. The iconic Wagon at the top of the hill is a magnet for kids. There is a decent amount of parking.

I have never seen anyone fishing at the park
I've never seen the gate closed, officially I think it's 8am though
