This is a pretty awesome place and the staff just make it way better. My nephew asked me on short notice to go paint balling and flying dutchman is where we came. The owner was really great and went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. He’s been running this place since the 80’s and they are highly organized and efficient. His staff who referee the games will actually jump in on the games and play with the kids its great. Id highly recommend this place. Very professional, friendly and welcoming! I will be coming back!

6 of us planned on playing a little closer to home but that got canceled. I called up and spoke with Matt. Asked if he had anything scheduled for the next day and he said nope. So I let my buddies know that we could head up to Guilford and play if they wanted. They said yes. I called him and he said he'd be ready for us when we showed up. A few of the guys had never played at all and the rest of us hadn't played in a while. We had a blast. Awesome diversity of fields to play on. Our ref, I can't remember her name, was still relatively new but was great to deal with. We're already planning a few more trips in the near future to go back and play again. Matt and staff, y'all have an awesome place!!!

This place is awesome and so are the people running it. Cost is pretty low to be able to play all day. Would recommend if you a group of people who play some fun tactful paint ball. Will return.

This is gonna be a long one, so buckle up. I used to play a LOT of paintball. But life started getting busy and I had a 8ish year hiatus. I had been to most of the fields in the southern maine area, so I have a fair amount of sites to compare Flying Dutchman to. I LOVE this place. So, some disclaimers. It's rough around the edges. That might bother some. The office/proshop is literally the finished attic space above a VERY unused barn... garage... kind of place. There's two water closets (definitely NOT full bathrooms). They had 3 staff members, and one was an older guy who manned the office. He was, eccentric to say the least. Why do I give this place five stars? The fields are awesome, big, and plentiful. The staff (even the owner) were all very nice and very helpful. Knowledgeable and willing to teach, and be reasonable. While we were out in the field a frat party arrived and we had a few games together. One guy had never held a marker before and accidentally discharged while not in a match. I've seen referee's go off on people for safety violations like that. Even with a barrel sock on (this guy had one), but the ref came over, calmly restated the rules, showed him how to clean his gun and was firm, but cool about the whole thing. We didn't play at all the fields, but we went to 5 of them. The pictures are from the 4th field we went to. There's a good amount of mixture of the fields, you can do woodsball, or traditional speedball, and have a variety of either. So long as you're okay with plywood speedball. No inflatables (another thing i'm perfectly alright with). So, I used to play a LOT of paintball, and had accrued a bunch of markers that I had let get gunked up in storage. They were happy to work on each of them (i had brought two autocockers, Tippmann a-5, tippmann tpx, and an automag classic). They seemed enthusiastic about caring for older markers, and at least some that weren't BT or tippmann. Anyways, they spent a LOT of time on my markers and didn't charge me much at all, despite replacing a few parts, and a whole pile of O-rings. Another thing is that when they found out I had an automag they let me use one of their automags. The place has about 12 classic automags that are mostly collecting dust as most renters don't want them. As you can see from my pictures I was more than excited to use it. They also had a grill that we all used and had lunch together. Great time, great staff, super friendly, I'd go way more often if I lived closer.
