I had the halibut sandwich and was blown away. The food is worth the wait. They only take cash so come prepared. Take your sandwich across the street and eat on the boardwalk. Or enjoy right in the parking lot. The staff is super friendly and patient.

After reading the reviews, I had to bring my family to this venerable seafood spot. About two weeks ago, I drove about 45 minutes with my family to see what the hype was about. Let me put it this way...there is a reason that this establishment was able to withstand the chaos of Covid and has been around for decades. This was some of the best seafood my family and I have had in a very long time. The fish and soft crabs were fresh, not over cooked and had the right amount of seasoning, specifically salt. As a bonus, the environment was welcoming. I'm looking forward to bringing my family friends to this space for years to come. FYI: although this place is located near the water, when the sun comes out, it is SWELTERING HOT! Please try to eat in your car or further up the street at the sheltered seating area.

Wow, this place is a blast from the past. Not a 5 star diner but the food was good and a great value at 10 bucks a plate. Got our sandwiches and went across the street and looked at the bay and ate.no seats inside, take out only and cash only. For some old school fish check this place out.

Make sure to bring cash with you. First the good things - large portion sizes, fried to order and the fish is fresh. However, the food has no taste on its own, you have to drench everything in either tartar sauce or marinara. The batter is heavy and no seasoning. The lines and wait is also very long.
