Not happy at all. I tested positive for Covid at home so I made an early appointment. Medical assistant walked into the room and ask why I was there. I told her I tested positive for Covid and had a violent cough that kept me up at night. She asked ME what I wanted them to do about it. I told her that they are the medical professionals and hoped that THEY can tell me what to expect. After she left , another PA came into the exam room and after reviewing the options of antiviral meds, I decided to forego that option. I simply asked for a prescription for an effective cough medication, so it was called in to my pharmacy. When my wife went to pick it up it was an weak over the counter tablet . I called back GoHealth and was told that there was NO Doctor there authorized to prescribe an effective CONTROLLED medication (Robitussin A-C for example) Useless visit accomplished nothing.

Terrible place. I was asked by my job to get a Covid Test for a work event on March 1st. This Northwell Urgent Care told me there would be no Copay. A month later my credit card was charged for a Copay. I visited this office 4 times & this smooth talker in the desk told me he would call me back. Never heard from him. I called my Insurance Company & they confirmed I should not have been charged a Copay for a Covid test. They put in a separate false claim for an office visit which my insurance company said they should not have done. A different Northwell office in Levittown never charged me a Copay in December for Covid Test. These guys are unethical for putting in false claims and poor service. Stay away.

OMG! Scheduled 1:45 appt., 6 other people still waiting 1 hr to be seen. So far waiting 45 min for a simple rapid pcr. Don’t come here if you are sick, there is nothing “urgent” about this Urgent Care Center

One would think that after the numerous 1 star reviews things might change, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. My first experience was six years ago when I was misdiagnosed and almost died. I was diagnosed with bronchitis and told to go home and rest. When I went to my own doctor the very next morning, she listened to my lungs for two seconds and diagnosed me with double pneumonia. Fast forward to yesterday when, against all of my better judgment, I went back because I wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, my primary doctor did not have any appointments and suggested I go to the center. To start, I was quite literally the only patient in the entire place, yet they put me into a room and had me sit there for 20 minutes before the doctor walked in. As I was waiting, I could hear her outside sitting at the desk casually talking to the receptionist. 😳 They told me I tested COVID negative on the molecular rapid, and that I have bronchitis (starting to sound like a familiar theme!). This morning I began receiving alerts from the department of health that I actually tested positive for COVID. I called the central number 4 times trying to get in touch with the actual clinic. When I finally did, I was promised that someone would be getting back to me very quickly with an explanation. It’s now 10 PM, they closed at 5 PM, no call back. Awful. Literally the worst place to go if you’re not feeling well and are looking for an accurate diagnosis. Visit any other walk-in clinic, and I can almost guarantee the treatment will be better.
