Kandy is AMAZING. I have been trying to come to grips that I have lost all of my hair due to a reaction from the COVID vaccines. For me, loosing my hair was very traumatic and it took me a while to come to grips with it. I found A Wig Center on Google, my first interaction with Kandy was when I called to book an appointment. She immediately made me feel comfortable to the point where I was excited to explore wigs. The salon has a huge selection of wigs and accessories and Kandy is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. She made the experience so fun and easy, I was able to find the perfect wig and some really cool head wraps/covers for days that I do not want to wear the wig. If I could give 10 stars, I would have!

There is no doubt that Kandy knows her stuff- I've been going to her for years and she's never steered me wrong. But what stands out the most for me is the kindness and empathy I always experience when I walk into her shop. There can be a lot of shame involved in hair loss and it takes vulnerability to walk into a shop and ask for help. Kandy put me at ease from the first moment I walked in. She listened with empathy, made recommendations, and made sure I felt confident and beautiful before I walked out the door. I wish I could give her more than five stars!

After a really bad haircut that looked more like a brush cut I decided to purchase a wig. I’m so thankful I found Kandy at A Wig Center. First she was the only company that returned my phone call. She was very patient listening to my story and helping me pick out the right wig for me. She truly went above and beyond. I would highly recommend her because she is not only knowledgeable but has the sensitivity to help someone facing a devastating hair loss due to cancer or Alopecia.
