Great place. City of Lake Wales has done an awesome job with this park. Went to Mardi gras and other events in the park. Always a great time.

I love lake Wales park. There are plentiful park benches and a nicely paved sidewalk that goes almost all the way around the lake . You can take a side street to connect to the part that doesn't too. They have out in nice exercise spots and a boat ramp for fishing. Also the gazebo is a very photogenic area with a beautiful view of historic lake Wales. It's quite a walk all the way around. No there aren't any Gators so don't worry. Lake Wales is a hidden little gem that still maintains it small town feel.

We were there for a BBQ festival which was very nice. Well priced the food was good and the entertainment was great. They have a nice walking path around the lake with beautiful views. I really enjoyed my visit.
