We stopped by here after our friend's followup doctor appointment. The beer selection wasn't vast, but they were tasty. I ended up bringing home a bottle which I have yet to drink. They are very dog friendly and even have a small selection of items just for them. I bought a bag of biscuits. They also have lots of games.

I booked a surprise birthday party at B-Side and Taylor was incredible! Not only was she super responsive to my questions ahead of time, I was able to enter early to decorate and she was the perfect host/bartender. She even saw the ice cream cake was melting and put it in the fridge for us. The venue, beer, and staff are what made this party so successful :) Will most definitely be back… my absolute favorite brewery!!

This review is mainly for B Side (the event space at Alvarium) We love Alvarium, so I decided to host my graduation party here this year. The booking process was easy, I emailed and met with Taylor to go over all the details. It was fairly priced and the drink prices are so good. The day of the event went really smooth, they connected me with caterers who brought an awesome BBQ dinner. Taylor bartended on the night and the vibe was perfect. Some people brought their dogs (since it is dog friendly for leashed and well behaved pups). We had about 5 hours in the event space with friends and family (about 30 people, with plenty of space) and whoever was leftover late night headed over to the main bar for final drinks. Cannot recommend B Side enough if you are looking to have an event!

Hi Joseph, We self distribute our beer to over 70 liquor stores throughout the state. We're currently working with our website designer to provide a map (it will also show the 150+ bars/restaurants we're in too!). In the mean time, please check out our Instagram profile "alvariumbeer" and look at the highlight section. One is called "FindOurCans" and the other "OnTapCT" As you cycle through, you'll see pictures of all of the towns and stores that carry our beer. Hi Caron! You can do small tastings at our brewery, they're 5 ounce glasses, and are referred to as a "flight". We normally recommend a five beer flight, however you can do as few or as many as you like. They're typically served in an order of lightest to darkest, so you can taste the flavors as you move from beer to beer. We also offer 8oz half pours, 16oz pints, and our stronger beers (anything over 7.5% alcohol) are served in a 13oz glass. We also offer one hard cider option, a red and white wine, cold brew coffee and local craft soda from Avery's Beverages. If you'd like to take any of our beers with you to-go, we offer "Crowlers" which are 32oz cans. We fill them, and seal them on site in front of you. Hope that helps! Absolutely! We always allow outside food, just no outside soda or alcohol. We also ask that you don’t use confetti on the table for decorations, it causes a massive mess in our taproom. Balloons and other decoration stuff is okay though, and encouraged! Cheers, -Brian Bugnacki, Co-Founder
