A nice place to take kids, lots of picnic benches, lots of access to the lake. There are several different areas, some areas allow dogs some do not. Dogs must be on leash and well-behaved. The lake frontage is very, very gradual. The water is pretty clear. On my most recent trip there they were five or six ducks that were swimming around. A fair number of picnic tables, some in the Sun, some in the shade of tall pine trees. There are porta potties. It is pretty well kept, no trash laying around, appears to be mowed regularly. Very friendly staff.

It was wonderful until we saw 2 grown people screwing in the water. Which had tons of kids and families around. But other than great time!!!!

Had a good day 2 adults 2 kids 11 bucks for as long as you want open to close. Went at 1030 left around 4. Wasnt too busy

Locals only kind of place. Drive up slots on the lake edge. The sites are open enough so larger gatherings can occur, but can also be suited to the individual family to spend a nice day together. Good prices to help escape the heat. This is not a classy joint, its beautifully redneck so do not expect any glam!
