Honestly I’m not too impressed! I’ve lived in Russell for 30 years and have never visited this place before. Currently Working on Buying my first home and been shopping around for furniture. With the inflated market, I’d rather spend the extra money on something hand crafted from my hometown that I can hold onto. My grandmother “Referred” me in after she visited with “Don” to look at Bed Set’s a few months back! Wednesday Afternoon, After walking through there showroom with my grandmother and nobody greeting us, I walked into “Don” who was sitting at the counter. I told him I need a new bedroom set as well. He immediately told me that the basement where all the bedroom sets are is currently under construction. Not a big deal, I understand! I told him that I found a bed I like at Raymour but it’s $4500 for poor quality material, and as a Sales Professional myself, I can’t justify that. I told him I would like the same style bed set to be hand crafted and just spend a little extra money to only have to do the job once! Because my current bed set is falling apart, and I’ve only had it for 6 years! He immediately blurted out “well it’s going to cost you like $10,000 minimum!” It honestly was pretty rude and almost felt condescending like he knew it was out of my price range! My grandmother agreed that it wasn’t very professional. On top of it, there was an older gentleman in the showroom I didn’t know? Maybe waiting to talk to Don?! But I felt a little embarrassed. The whole time I continued speaking to Don, he was rushing me to finish and trying to take my information to call me back later with a quote! Absolutely no respect for me and what I was trying to accomplish! I did ask to see some bed sets and wood styles. He showed me a few downstairs but it almost felt like he was distracted the entire time and wasn’t really listening to what I had to say. So I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I just had a bad experience with a bad salesman not a big deal. I can still build and purchase a bedroom set, but when I get the quote I’ll ask to work with someone else who cares! I was promised a quote to be sent via email later that day or the next. It’s Saturday now. I called back at 4:30 today which they close at 5 and seemed to catch “Don” of guard! Terrible customer service on the phone as well! I said I still haven’t got the quote. He said “oh I forgot, I apologize!” I asked if he still had my contact information, he says “I believe I have it somewhere? I just have to find it…” Are you kidding me?! Then promised me that I’ll have it by the end of the work day today. They close at 5. It’s 630 and I don’t have a quote! I’ve wanted to build a bed with this place for the past year and do a kitchen remodel with them on my new house! But I think I’m all set… it’s a shame.

Fabulous custom kitchen, designed and built by these folks. They know what they're doing!!!! And service is great even three years later. We had a small issue with a roll top cabinet and they came and fixed in within a week....no charge

So far our experience has been awesome! We put in a order for a new kitchen table, computer desk and bookshelf. From walking around their show room, all their builds are strong and flawless - professional work. I believe their work blows any typical furniture store out of the water. We look forward to seeing how our order comes out!

We love Countryside Woodcraft in Russell! They designed and built our kitchen, dining room , and bed room 12 years ago and we are so pleased with their beautiful craftsmanship. So of course when we wanted some new tables and a corner display cupboard for the living room, who else would we call! They did a beautiful job, everything is just what we wanted - and they matched the stain and finish to the original wood so you would think we had it all done at once. They are excellent craftsman who stand behind their work!!
