We shopped around at different fireplace stores and ending up buying a gas insert fireplace from Heart Designs and had them install it. Had a great experience with them as they are very knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a gas insert.

We chose Hearth Designs after visiting 5 or 6 different stores looking for a higher quality gas fireplace insert. We chose them both because they carry the Jotul model that we liked and because the owner, John, was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions. We were nervous because it was going to be a complicated install with the fireplace being re-surfaced with new ledger stone and we had a tall chimney. We made a great choice going with Hearth Designs! John ended-up coming out to our house and working with our contractor on 5 different occasions to ensure that the installation came out perfect. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.

Highly recommended! I haven't been to the Hearth Designs store, I have only used them for service. CT came to our house today for the second time in a couple years. We first contacted Hearth Designs after our vendor told us that they couldn't help us out with repairs/ maintenance. CT spent at least 1.5 hours cleaning our stove and it looks like new! Last year we also had a problem, which CT easily identified & fixed, and the cost for both visits was less than I was expecting. A++++
